Just discovered your site through Youtube...love the information you provide in your videos! I'm a professional photographer here in Texas, and without a doubt, one of the most common topics I cover with clients is, "How do I learn to pose?" I personally work with clients all the time with this topic, but I think it would be a great idea, if you could find the time to create a series of videos specifically for posing techniques. Or, maybe you can suggest some good resources? I would gladly refer my clients to your tutorials, so that they could review them on their own and become more comfortable before they even step in front of my camera. Keep it up...great site! :)

Hi Christina! I am currently signed with FORD and I was wondering if it is okay for me to try to get work myself (contact magazines or designers etc) to try to sell myself -through the agency I mean...I would always direct them to contact the agency if interested. I ask because the directer at Teen Vogue, last time Iwas in LA, met with me and said "I wish I had something going on, here's my card, call me when you are going to be back in LA" Am I allowed to do stuff like that or is it taboo? I don't want to make Ford mad. LOL BUT I also want to WORK and if I am allowed (or even expected) to kinda sell myelf to people......well, I will contact the directors for ALL the magazines! Hi Cristina this is Katherine and I have a question regarding dress size. how do I figure out my dress size is it based on my height and measurements I'm confused. well my height is 5'4'' and my measurements are 32D, 29Waist, 37hips but these measurements are recent because unfortunately I've gained weight my measurements before the weight were: 5'4'', 32b/c, 25, and 35 but those measurements were from I was a freshmen in high school when I was 15 and now I'm 21 should I try to achieve those measurements again or just lose may be 10lbs which do you think agencies will prefer because i'm afraid if i lose too much weight my face will look old because lack of fat so what do you suggest?

Hi Cristina, I just got a message from a "Bradon Stanford, Chief Recruiting Officer(CRO) of Emtex Clothing & Textiles industry based in Nottingham UK.Established in 1994, EMTEX (East Midlands Textile Association)". Here is the website he gave me: www.emtex.org.uk I just want to know if it is legit? He also said I have to go and get a UK based attorney and that they can recommend one(I dont know if I have to pay for it?? Im just scared if this is not legit that I will be kidnapped and have something really bad happen. He had a profile on bemodel.com yesterday and now it's gone. Is there a way to privately message you so I can send what he wrote incase you can't tell if he is legit or something?

I just had a photo shoot done last week to help build on my portfolio. when i showed my mother the pictures and she was very upset. some of my photos were in lingerie and all she kept saying is "how can i let someone i never met before take half naked pics of me?" she says that she is okay with me wanting to be a print model, but she doesnt understand that most models dont even know their photographers and its just a part of the job. i reassure her constantly that i would never do nude photos but i feel like she doesnt believe me because ive done lingerie. how can i help her to understand what it is that models do????
